At Last! Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Very Effective!

We’ve had sets of cats for over 50 years. They are wonderful animals, but shed so much fur. I’m tired of using whisk brooms, vacuum cleaners, sticky tape. This pet hair remover really is simple enough for a pre-schooler to use and to empty. One push on the release tab, and gently shake out or pull out the fur. It picks up a lot of fur with one swipe. Highly recommend.

Works great for non-pet households, too!

We don’t own any pets, but we do have a household with a number of long-haired inhabitants. I bought this to help combat the relentless cleaning of long hair on our couches and upholstered furniture. I just got it today and it works great. It sweeps up all the long strands of hair that get in every crevice of our furniture. We had tried using the disposable lint rollers, but found that approach to be wasteful, going through an entire roll in just a few weeks. This is much easier, does a better job, and the only waste is whatever we pull out of the receptacle! I’m hopeful that this tool will be useful for at least a few months. It has helped already! So whether you have pets or people shedding, this will help keep your upholstery clean. This item is a good value for the money and I would recommend it to friends and family.

    Unbelievable! 100 stars!

I have never felt so good about a purchase ever. Purchases have always fallen short to what they’ve promised. But this little item, the chomchom roller works 100%. No hair is left behind. You do need to watch the YouTube quickly just to know how to use it. It’s just back-and-forth motion quickly. Anyway, I am so moved to give this a review because I want everyone who has pets. No there is something out there for us. Finally. Thank you CEO thank you thank you thank you for inventing this item. I don’t have to wash all the time and clog up my washer and dryer with hair. My furniture stays clean with no hair just as promised it works!!!!!

    Best For Pet Hair

The ChomChom Roller really does work as advertised, even though we do not have pets in our home. I originally tried it for human hair and dry lint on dark fabrics, and while it worked, I still preferred my regular lint remover for my specific needs. This is more like a “magnet” on pet hairs. I ended up giving this to my sister, who has pets, and that is where it truly shines. On her couches and blankets, it lifts pet hair quickly and so much more effectively than disposable lint rollers. The fact that it is reusable makes it a nice money saver over time and a more sustainable option, especially in a busy household where fur is a daily battle. If you live with cats or dogs and are constantly cleaning up hair, this is a simple, eco friendly tool that earns its keep.

    Best pet hair remover… ever!

I have always had at least one dog and I’m used to coping with some dog hair, but I’ve never allowed dogs on the furniture and I also think that my dogs all had hair that was fairly easy to remove.Fast forward to 2012, and I am in a second marriage with 3 kids. The last “not on furniture” dog died and we got a new dog named Zara. Hubs grew up in a house that allowed dogs on the furniture so when we saw that that Zara was able to jump on the furniture we had to make a decision. We did it the good ol’ American way and put it to a vote. Hubs and all three girls voted to let the dog on the furniture, much to my dismay. Worse, Zara’s hair is like nothing I’ve seen before… once it gets onto cloth, most of the time it clings to the point that the hairs have to be pulled out individually. Vacuuming, tape-style lint rollers, a Gleener depiller, velcro balls in the washer/dryer, Bounce pet hair dryer sheets … they all leave a lot behind.Fast forward to 2020 and not only am I at my wits’ end with the dog hair, but all three kids are grown women and none of us likes that we can’t sit on the furniture without having to get out a hand-held vacuum and vacuum the dog hair off the back of each others’ pants.Fast forward one last time to last week when I finally decided to get this Chom Chom gadget. I am ASTOUNDED at how well it works. I think the secret is with the little squeegee on the roller. I’ve tried using a squeegee on carpet before and it really does work, but it is unwieldy, cannot easily be done in more than one direction, and it must be done with a vacuum nearby to gather whatever gets pulled up. Also, then the squeegee ends up with pet hair on it so it needs to be cleaned before it gets put back into service for cleaning glass. With the Chom Chom, you get the benefit of the squeegee, but since it is on the roller, it is easier to do back/forth strokes. And then as for how the dog hair gets off the roller and into the hair collection chamber… maybe it is sorcery? I have no idea how that works but IT DOES!!In full honesty, I still have to do extra strokes to get all of Zara’s hair (it gets our other dog’s “easy hair” on the first swipe), but the amount that the Chom Chom picks up relative to the number of passes I have to make over the fabric is unbelievable!Once the chamber is full, I use a handheld vac to remove the hair and then it is ready to go again! The only downsides that I can see are:- Some dog hair gets trapped in the side hinges of the door to the collection chamber and has to be pulled out with the fingers. It is possible that if I cleaned it before it got SO FULL, that problem would go away, but we just have SO MUCH dog hair and the gadget is so effective that I would be emptying every couple of minutes.- The button to open the collection chamber door is right where I place my thumb for strength so I tend to pop it open when I am doing the actual rolling task (I seem to have this problem with a lot of products that have a button in the center, so that might be a “me” problem.)- The chom chom is 7.5″ wide which is excellent for cleaning furniture, but a narrower version would be better for clothing, especially when the dog hair gets on the clothes while they’re being worn and it would be impractical to remove the clothes (e.g., if you get dog hair on your black pants when you ride in your co-worker’s car to lunch during the workday.)BOTTOM LINE: I have had this little gadget for less than a week and have already recommended it to several people and wrote this review while I was looking to see if they had a narrower model for my car/office/coat closet. I wish I had owned this years ago, and I would 100% buy it again.

    Fantastic!!

When I told my fiancé I wanted one of these, he told me they’re cheap and suck. But, particular brand is amazing! It WORKS! It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and has lasted a very long time with regular use, two cats, and two dogs. It’s also quite satisfying cleaning the cat tree with it. It picks up a ton of hair off of my couch, but not the pieces that are sticking into the fabric, so I do have to go over my couch again with something sticky, but I highly recommend this to anyone with shedding pets!! It really is worth it!

SOLUTION TO HAVING LONG HAIRED CATS

If you are sick of pet hair clinging to everything. Get this.My cat is VERY furry and gets hair all over the place- i’ve gone through so many lint rollers and even got a pet hair broom but they never get everything. I got this and it has managed to clean hair and lint off of everything my lint roller couldn’t (and it’s reusable!) It works so well on furniture, blankets, and bedding. I would say that it is kind of tricky for clothes and that I may still prefer the sticky lint rollers for those, but I definitely do not regret getting this for everything else.Might even try to use it brush my cat… it can do anything.

    Siberian Tumbleweed Maker

I bought this specifically so I could rescue one of my carpets from the mountain of fur my cats decided to shed all over it. I was willing to get on my hands and knees with this thing to get that carpet back into shape and thankfully this little roller did not play in my face.I have Siberians so their hair is soft, layered and (during the shedding seasons) everywhereee. This roller picked up the hair in one pass from my velvet couch. I also ran it over their cat tree and it picked up a bunch of hair, but is a pit clunky on the rounded bits (the chomchom did its best ok, everyone has their blind spots and theirs is a circle).I also took a full 4 minute video of this guy cleaning up my hair carpet but Amazon refuses to load the video and it’s probably for the best so my digital fingerprint doesn’t include that shame lol. It did take a few more rolls to pick up everything but in the sections I went over it rolled easily and picked up everything after a few passes.Overall 4/5 because it works well, picked up a bunch of hair and didn’t damage my couch or carpet. It lost a star because it is a bit of a pain to remove all the hair it picks up from the roller as it doesn’t really end up in the chamber but trapped in corners because it’s more of a half roller than a full circular one like you see on a vaccuum. I feel like if I wanted to make wool from my cat hair picking it off of surfaces using this guy would allow you to skip 10 steps lol. Honestly worth the money. Can be used ok carpets, clothes or couches unlike the ones with super long handles.

    Buy it now

This is the single best and most upsetting purchase of my life. Even if you clean routinely and think your home is actually free of pet hair, you’re wrong, and this product will prove it.If it didn’t work so dang well, I’d take off a star because it’s not as easy to use as advertised; it still requires a bit of elbow grease. It got the star back because it’s freaking effective and still easier than other tools.Testimony:I was already obsessive about cleaning, a now I have two orange cats. Vacuuming and wiping countertops etc. are daily chores, and so my apartment appears to be very clean and tidy. ENTER: THIS ROLLER.I first used it on my couch and was absolutely disgusted. I use a vacuum and scraper regularly and yet STILL this roller collected so much fur (and consequently dirt/dust) that I felt embarrassed and filthy. Then I figured… might as well try the carpets… my god. I’ve been walking/sitting/laying on this embedded fur and grime all this time having no idea.If you saw what came out of that roller, you’d think I’d never cleaned a day in my life.Unfortunately, this will become part of my regular routine because I’ve seen how inadequate standard cleaning products are.It hasn’t damaged carpet or couch or clothes. Value for Money is A1.Bonus: this makes a huge difference for friends or family with allergies.

Just buy it, you wont regret it for a moment

I was skeptical. I’ve used the little hand mit things with this same material to remove hair and was terribly unimpressed. So I expected this to be a let down too.Not gonna lie, I opened this up with my skeptical eyes & tried it and was convinced I wasn’t using it correctly because “how the heck does the hair get IN it?!”….but after looking up a few videos to confirm I was using it correctly I went to town on the various pieces of furniture that our dog’s hair clung to for dear life like Jack Dawson on that door. I have no adequate words to describe how amazed I was at what it picked up after just a quick pass on the couch, not just fur but blanket lint and crumbs I didn’t even know were there. Certain that it couldn’t possibly be as glorious as it seemed and would only work on upholstery or taut surfaces…I tried it on the black leggings I was wearing that wearing and it did better than any sticky tape roller ever has. Floppy duvet cover? Would never guess we had a dog after this magical contraption.Buy it. If you’re on the fence bc $20 isn’t cheap these days…you’ll never buy another dang lint roller in your life.
